Saturday 24th Literary Stand-Up: Snarky, Fresh and Sizzling Shorts | 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. | venue TBA | $10 | Hemingway mastered the art of the short story in six words: “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” Our performers have also been pruning their works; whittling away pen and scalpel—reminding us that indeed good things do come in small packages. Featuring Ojai and area talent + LA-based writer E.E. King “whose glittering gems of fiction pack a lot into a small space. Her work combines the O. Henry twist with the poetry and mystery of Ray Bradbury. Due to her theatrical training, hearing Ms. King read, greatly enhances the experience.” (Full list of performers will be posted online soon)
